Our story began on a rainy night in 2017 as we went out for a movie date to see Beauty and the Beast. The rest, as they say, is history. We dated for the next five years, building a life together filled with laughter, memories, and dreams. In 2022, I proposed to Hannah on her birthday, and we tied the knot in 2023.
Hannah is our family's rock and the backbone of Cooper's Coffee Co. Without her support, encouragement, and belief in this dream, none of this would be possible. She's not just my partner in life—she's my partner in every cup we serve.
Cooper is our blue heeler and the heart of everything we do. He loves frisbees and car rides more than anything in the world, and he brings us more joy than we could ever put into words. He's not just our dog—he's our best friend.
When it came time to name the business, there was only one choice. Cooper reminds us every single day that showing up matters. Our brand colors are a tribute to him: the navy blue represents his breed, and the golden orange reflects the color of his eyebrows. Every cup we pour carries a little piece of what Cooper teaches us—consistency, loyalty, and being there when it counts.
Like many great ideas, ours started with frustration. We were tired of driving 15 to 30 minutes—sometimes more—just to get a quality cup of coffee. It felt like we were wasting valuable time and money for something that should be simple and accessible.
One day, I stumbled across an espresso machine at a great price and decided to take the plunge. After getting comfortable with it, we invited family over for breakfast and coffee. That morning changed everything. We fell in love with what we started calling "playing cafe"—the joy of serving coffee to people we care about, the conversations that followed, the warmth of bringing people together.
We wanted to do more of that. And so, Cooper's Coffee Co. was born—not just as a business, but as a way to bring that same warmth, quality, and connection to others. We wanted to meet people where they are, so they wouldn't have to drive across town or settle for less.
To meet people where they are and serve consistent, quality coffee—especially when and where it's needed. This isn't just about coffee. It's about showing up when others don't. Whether it's early mornings, late nights, or somewhere in between, we want to be there with something familiar and consistent in your hands.
We're starting with mobile catering, but we're dreaming bigger. Our vision is to grow into a community staple—eventually opening a 24-hour cafe that serves all hours. A place where people can gather at any time of day or night, knowing they'll find quality coffee and a warm welcome waiting for them.
